Vitamin C serum

This vitamin C serum is not sticky with added benefits of panthenol

Materials

Phase I

  • 78 % Distilled Water
  • 5 % Propanediol
  • 15 % Ascorbic Acid

Phase II

  • 1 % Panthenol
  • 1 % Preservatives Euxyl PE9010

Instructions

  • Combine phase I and heat to 70° celcius
  • Let it cool down to 40 degree celcius before adding all materials in phase II
  • Adjust pH 2.5 to 3

Notes

  • If you formulate this serum with 5% ascorbic acid, remember to make sure that total weight concentration is 100%. You need to add 10% to distilled water.
  • You can use your preferred preservatives
