Lavender Hydrating Mist Toner

I’d love using mist during summer. They made you feel refreshed on hot summer and I do feel more relaxed as well during work. Apparently, mist is very easy to formulate.

The main ingredients in this mist is aloe vera juice. I love it because it is very hydrating and refreshed. You can substitute aloe vera juice with other hydrosol such as rose water or cucumber water. You can obviously substitute it with water as well.

As this mist required essential oil, we will need Polysorbate 20. Essential oil is not soluble in water, polysorbate 20 helps it to dissolve in water. In this mist, I use lavender oil because it is very refreshing. You will be free to use any other essential oil.

We will need to mix essential oil, tocopherol into polysorbate 20. Then, we can combine them with water. Because this is water based product, preservative is compulsory.
