Oatmeal Powder Cleanser

Have you ever heard of powder cleansers? These innovative skincare products have been making waves in the beauty industry for quite some time now. If you’re someone who loves trying out new and unique products, powder cleansers might just be your next obsession. In this blog post, we will delve into the world of powder cleansers, exploring their benefits, how to use them, and why they are considered a game-changer in the skincare market.

Powder cleansers have been gaining popularity in recent years due to their unique formulation and versatility. Unlike traditional cleansers that come in liquid or gel form, powder cleansers are dry powders that transform into a creamy lather when mixed with water. This unique texture allows for a gentle exfoliation and deep cleansing experience, leaving your skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

One of the key benefits of powder cleansers is their long shelf life. Since they are in powder form, they are not diluted with water and does not require any preservatives because it is anhydrous. In fact, it is super simple and easy to make. You do not need lot of raw materials to formulate this product.

Here, I was using colloidal oatmeal but you can definitely substitute it with coconut milk powder or any powder that provide moisture. Clay powder could be too drying for your face. Hence, it is necessary to add moisturising powder for your cleanser. Clay has ability to absorb oil in your face. In addition to this, you could add other herbal extract to your cleanser.

Note: please use powder according to manufacturer recommendation.

The cost of formulating this powder cleanser is pretty cheap as well. You will have to use powder surfactants. I am using sodium cocoyl glutamate which is mild surfactants.
